Brajwasis take oath to keep Braja clean

oath_1462039282The Braja Cleanliness Campaign reached its peak with the presence of cine star and MP from Mathura, Hema Malini present on the last day of the campaign. School children took oath to keep Braja clean and pollution free. Prior to this, campaign covered Vrindavan, Barsana and Govardhan.

The four-day long campaign to spread awareness about the pollution in Braja was started by the Mr. Ashwini Kumar (CEO of Wings to Fly) and ended at the Jubilee Park in Mathura.

Hema Malini told that we need to take initiative for a clean and pollution free environment. She said that we will be able to take care of the environment only if we are aware of the state of cleanliness around us.

Manisha GuptaMathura Municipal Corporation Chairman Manisha Gupta said that the purpose of this campaign was to accelerate the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan as well as to create the awareness for the environment. Students from Army School, Chandanvan Public School, BBR International Public School, Riyal Public School, St. Paul Public School, Ratanlal Vidya Public School, Gurukul Public School, etc participated in the campaign.
