Born on 6th Feb 1874, Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura is the child that Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura prayed to Lord Jagannatha for, wanting an able assistant to preach Krishna Consciousness.

We are sad to inform that one of our senior Vaishnavas, Sri Sri 108 Bhakti Chakor Shroti Goswami Maharaji, sisya of Sri Srimad Bhakti Saranga Goswami Maharaji, has left this materialistic world on January 9, 2014 at 12pm.

Vaishnava acaryas, sannyasis and devotees from all over the world attended the 50th Vyasapuja ceremony of Srila B.B. Bodhayan Maharaja in Mayapur-dham, India. 

After his wedding, a rich man from Calcutta, who had taken shelter at the lotus feet of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura, wished to know how he could utilize his time in hari-bhajana while situated in married life.

All those who do not follow the principles and ideals of the maṭha, who lack humility, and who are not inclined to follow the path of bhakti under the guidance of śrī guru, should be sent home in all their pride and insubordination.
