Railbus between Mathura, Vrindavan to restart soon: Minister

Union Minister Manoj Singh today said the work to re-introduce railbus service between Mathura and Vrindavan, considering their religious importance, is under progress.

“The work is in progress to re-start railbus between Mathura and Vrindaban shortly. To overcome the technical snag it has developed, a plan is afoot to send it to Izatnagar,” he told reporters, after paying obeisance to the deity in BankeyBehari temple in Vrindaban yesterday.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in a letter to Union Railway Minister had requested to re-start railbus between Mathura and Vrindaban owing to the religious importance of Vrindaban.

Earlier in the day, addressing a function at a private university, he said to overcome problem of unemployment 50 lakhs people would be recruited every year.
