And have you ever thought?
“I wish I could understand what Prabhupada is saying but I don’t speak English, or I can’t make out his accent.”
And have you ever thought?
“I want people from my country to receive the words of wisdom directly from Srila Prabhupada’s lotus mouth.”
Now with the launching of Vanipedia’s multi-language subtitle project these three needs will be satisfied. We plan to create 1,080 1 to 10 minute clips of Srila Prabhupada’s recorded classes and conversations subtitled in 50+ languages. This collaborative project will hopefully become one of the most uniting forces of Srila Prabhupada’s multi-lingual family.
Our first video that we prepared for Gaura Purnima titled “Expand to 10 Million” already has 35 languages subtitled. And 10 other videos have 6 languages. There are over 25 videos in Polish and over 30 in Latvian and German.
At the moment we have 50 videos available in our Vanimeda YouTube channel. They are translated in Dotsub.com, a designated website for subtitles, by any devotees who want to help out.
