The estimated values of the treasure which is mainly gold coins is of 35 Million dollars worth at the current Gold Value. Archeologists believe the treasure was hidden in the cave during the Spanish Inquisition, says Carlos Lazcano Sahagún, founder of the Historical Museum Ensenada, A.C. The government is still in negotiations with the Swami about the ownership of the treasure. Asked how he was planning to use the treasure, the Swami replied: Everything will be strictly used for serving Krishna by the highest siddhantic standards. For security reasons Swami preferred his name to be withheld.
