DISAPPEARANCE FESTIVAL OF SRILA GOUR GOVINDA SWAMI

Gopal Jiu Publications and Saranagati, Sri Srimad Gour Govinda Swami Seva Ashram are pleased to invite all Vaishnavas to attend the 9th annual disappearance festival of Srila Gour Govinda Swami.

The festival will take place on the 1st and 2nd of March 2005 at ISKCON Sridham Mayapur. Everyone is welcome.

Schedule:

28 FEB Evening: Place and time to be announced

* Orissan style bhajanas with Sri Damodar Giri and Gadeigiri kirtaniyas. (Sri Damodar Giri is a kirtana guru and the cousin brother of Srila Gour Govinda Swami)

1 MARCH Sri Srimad Gour Govinda Maharaja's Disappearance Day

MORNING

* 5:30 AM Nagar Sankirtan procession from Maharaja's puspa samadhi to Yoga Pith and back to Saranagati, Srila Gour Govinda Maharaj's seva ashram.

* 7:30 AM Vaishnava Homa and Grha-pravesh ceremony at Srila Gour Govinda Maharaj's seva ashram (includes bhajans by Damodar Giri).

* 11:30 AM Bhoga offering, puspanjali, guru-puja and prasadam

EVENING Events At Maharaja's Puspa Samadhi:

* 5:30 PM Bhajans by Sri Damodar Giri

* 6:00 PM Srila Gour Govinda Maharaja Video lecture

* 6:45 PM Remembrances and talks

* 8:45 PM Program finishes

2 MARCH

* 2:00 PM Mahaprasadam Distribution at ISKCON campus. This years feast has been sponsored by a disciple of Srila Gour Govinda Swami who is warmly inviting all Vaishnavas to attend regardless of their institutional affiliation.
