Imlitala Siddha Pith is building a new temple

IMLITALA SIDDHA PITH IS BUILDING A NEW TEMPLE

Due to the increasing amount of devotees who yearly come to the famous Imlitala temple, where Lord Chaitanya personally sat under the tamarind tree and where he had originally manifested, the Imlitala committee of the Gaudiya sangha founded by Parama Pujyapada Srila Bhakti Saranga Goswami Maharaja, decided to expand the temple into a big facility so that the large groups could be accommodated when they come. Being situated on the parikrama path, in the very heart of Vrindavan and the rasa-sthali, Imlitala has a large area which now is going to be the place to erect a beautiful Gaudiya Math style temple.

The devotees of Imlitala humbly request your cooperation. Sripad Tamal Krishna das Brahmachari is supervising the construction. He is an initiated devotee since 1980 and a disciple of Bhakti Suhrit Akinchana Maharaja. He is earnestly requesting devotees who want to make Imlitala look more beautiful to come forward and to make a little investment into that place which the Supreme Lord decided to choose to distribute the madhurya lila of Sri Sri Radha-Govindaji through the audarya lila of the united incarnation of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. He told VINA: "We are not a big international Vaishnava movement and we don’t have so many resources, like to make an original stone carved temple. But if you all help us we can still make something very wonderful and even if you cannot help us monetarily, please give us your moral support. And keep visiting Imlitala every time you come to Vrindavan. Our present Acharya, Srila Sadhu Maharaja, has put me in charge of this construction, I am not an expert for these things, but again with the help of all of you will be able to realize a beautiful plan. We have made a model of the design of the temple which I like to present to all of you. Please do not forget, this temple belongs to our entire sampradaya, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur Prabhupada told to Srila Bhakti Saranga Goswami Maharaja in a dream that he lives eternally in Imlitala, and here is also the first deity of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur. Niskinchana Krishna das Babaji Maharaja used to spent every one of his ekadasis in Vrindavan here in Imlitala and he would sing the whole night. Srila B.R. Sridhar Maharaja composed 3 key shlokas to glorify this place and there doesn’t exist a Gaudiya Vaishnava acharya who hasn’t embraced and prayed at the feet of this sacred tree under which Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is eternally situated meditating on Sri Yamuna mayi, the beauty of Srimati Radharani and Sri Vrindavan.
