The King of Puri, Sri Gajapaty Divya Singha Deva, attended the opening ceremony and performed the aratik ceremony to Sri Sri Guru Gauranga Radha Madan Mohan. 
Sri Gajapaty Divya Singha Deva honoring Srila Bhakti Pramode Puri Goswami Maharaj, founder of Sri Gopinath Gaudiya Math. The temple opening ceremony took place from October 9th to 11th, 2010.
