Our Health

Children who grow up getting their nutrition from plant foods rather than meats have a tremendous health advantage. They are less likely to develop weight problems, diabetes, high blood pressure, and some forms of cancer.

America was a wild untamed place of vast natural beauty and resources. The American Indians used to manage these resources in a very conscientious manner with great regard based on their spiritual heritage. One of the tribes, the Iroquois used to have a federation of tribes based on territories that was organized very much like America is today. In fact a lot of American Governmental structure is based on the Iroquois system. They had a saying which was quite Vedic in it's perspective and would have helped guide the administrators of this country to make far better decisions then have been made if they had adopted it along with the structure. The saying which was the opening statement at each central council meeting of the Iroquois where each tribe sent a representative is as follows: In all our deliberations to decide what actions we take let us always remember to take into consideration how that action shall effect the next 7 generations. There is great wisdom in these words.
