Bengal to Save Ganga Bank at Mayapur |

In january the Bengal government will start to save the holy banks of the Ganges river in Mayapur starting from Nandanacarya bhavan down to Hoola-ghat.
Nandanacarya Bhavan is the original place where Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu met with Sri Nityananda Prabhu. Devotees of Gaudiya sanga, founded by Nityananda vamsa Goswami Bhakti Saranga Goswami Maharaj, are now constructing the holy shrine of Sri Nandanacarya, the associate of Mahaprabhu. Opening will take place during Gour purnima 2009.
