“If our goal of preaching is to expand society or increase opulence, then the whole point will be lost. Society will not take us to Goloka, mundane opulence will not take us to Goloka, who will take us to Goloka? Our purity and chanting. We need society, but what society? Who is encouraging us to follow pure devotion? If someone is encouraging us to be fanatic then it will create trouble, although we don’t want to commit offense, the fanaticism will force us to commit offense. We should be careful about that and go ahead towards our ultimate goal, to be an eternal servant, eternal form and become delivered from this miserable condition. Mahaprabhu instructions are only two: serve Vaisnavas and chant the Holy Name.”
